Those that follow me on Instagram know that I love cork. I love that it is an ecofriendly sustainable fabric and that it wears quite well. It's one downside is that it is expensive. Cost before tax and shipping is approximately $80/yard if you can afford to buy the full yard. Smaller pieces are more affordable, but the price per square inch is higher. So, all of this is to say that I have to sell some things made from cork and I can no longer afford to keep it hoarded away for my own personal use.
On that note, the recently released Keyfob Wallet pattern by SewGnar is perfect for cork. I've made 7 of these little wallets and have 4 more on the go! I love this little wallet! This little bright blue one is one of my favourites.

This wallet has 2 card slots, a small zipper pocket on the back, a vinyl ID window, and a slip pocket that will hold folded bills. It is small enough to slip into your pocket. It's a really cute fun wallet that comes in lots of colors.
I love working with cork. It is a dream to sew and has a great look. I made a previous post on my love affair with cork here and it has lots of info on the product. All of my cork is purchased from MM Cork Supply which is located here in Canada.
These wallets are now for sale in my Etsy shop, StitchingCA.
I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!!
Karen
